THE 500 ENDALL:

Instinctual, Untamed Tone –
Iron & BRONZE Edition eq’s

The 500 ENDALL comes from months of personal testing and use in the studio on a variety of recordings.  Refining each feature to be simple and flexible in as many different applications as I could come up with.  The end result is a studio tool that will help you push your sound faster and closer to your desired tone with very little effort.  It has become a go to eq for fast moving tracking sessions and strapping pairs across your busses.

Built to be perfect for tracking, mixing and mastering.  No compromising.

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • The 500 Endall features an all through hole audio path which is becoming more and more difficult these days from a design and price point.
  • 6 Frequency selections per band
  • +/- 5 DB of gain per band in 1 DB steps
  • .5db steps can be engaged individually to the Top and Bottom bands separately using pushbuttons
  • 12db per octave HPF and LPF’s
  • HPF & LPF are relay bypass-able for quick A/B comparisons of what the filters are doing to the sound / shape, or for Mastering when you may want to use a different set of filters. Bypass’s all of the HPF & LPF circuitry at once.
  • Hard Bypass so you can do quick A/B of what the whole eq is doing to your audio.
  • Signal Present LED shows when signal is reaching the input of the EQ.
  • High headroom and low noise performance
  • Handmade in the U.S.A.

Small-Batch Runs Only:
Price is for a single channel, if you want pairs order 2.

What do the different color KNOBS mean:
Iron colored knobs indicate the standard opamps.  These sound a little more extended and modern sounding.
Bronze colored knobs indicate the use of custom discrete opamps from Scott Liebers.  These lean towards a more 70’s sound, I have a pair of these on my Drum Buss at all times now.

Neither option is considered a better version in my opinion.  In testing, I found that both options sounded great and shinned on different sources.  Personally, I wanted both versions in my Studio so I figured I would make both options available to everyone. Pairs of both versions get used all the time in my sessions and spread out across my busses.
